Win for Gary Frehill in the 2014 Frank O'Rourke memorial race!

Just a few races into his first season of racing, Gary Frehill has secured a brilliant win at the Frank O'Rourke A4 race in Wexford. A solid winter of hard training is evidently paying off for Gary securing a win so early in the racing season. The race was run over the Camaross circuit in Wexford, with 3 laps coming to a total of 80km for the race. The A4 bunch started off with about 100 riders and over the course of the race the bunch whittled down to a more select group of around 30 riders making their way into the finish together. Coming into the finish Gary positioned himself well up towards the front of the bunch to win the sprint for the line by a nice margin. A superb result for Gary, only a few races into the season for him and already 8 points on his first A4 licence, just another 2 points will have him upgraded to A3.

A massive congratulations to Gary from all the club, here's looking forward to plenty of more results in the near future!

Some more great shots below of Gary winning the sprint to the line. Thanks to Sean Rowe for the photos.
