Tour de Kilkenny 2015

Marble City Cyclers are delighted to announce that they will be hosting the seventh edition of the Tour de Kilkenny on the Saturday of the August Bank Holiday weekend, 1st August 2015. In the last six years, Tour de Kilkenny has raised over €70,000 for charity and we hope that with your help, we can raise even more funds for chairty again this year.

Verge Kilkenny TT League 2015

We're delighted to announce that this years Kilkenny Time Trial League will be sponsored by Verge with thanks to John Dempsey of Lucca Sports. For the winners of the 2015 Verge Kilkenny TT League - John has very kindly sponsored a fantastic piece of kit - the Verge DeFend - customised to the winners club kit colours.

We're linking up with our neighbours again - Kilkenny Triathlon Club, Deenside Wheelers and Kells Angels CC, with each club hosting a Time Trial, concluding with a hill climb tt and a team time trial.

Entry fee is €10 for all 6 time trials. 
Registration from 6.15 on Thursday - first riders off at 7.00. 

The dates of each time trial are as follows:

Week 1 - Thursday 7th May Kilmanagh TT - 14.5km. 

Week 2 - Thursday 14th May Cilin Hill TT - 13.5km. 

Week 3 - Thursday 21st May Castlecomer TT - 16km. 

(No time trial on Thurs 28th May as to allow for organisation of the Deenside Wheelers Race)

Week 4 - Thursday 4th June - Kells TT - 15.4km. 

Week 5 - Thursday 11th June - Hill Climb TT - Old Leighlin

Week 6 - Thursday 25th June - Team Time Trial - 12.5km

Wandesforde School sponsored cycle 2015

The Wandesforde School sponsored cycle is on Saturday 6th June. 

This is not only a great day on the bike but a great day out for all the family. It has a children's 5km fun cycle for the kids, a 30km cycle for any newcomers to cycling in the family and the more challenging 100km and 125km routes for any experienced cyclists in the family. Mixing this with the activities in the school and plenty of food afterwards it promises to be an excellent day of fun and enjoyment.

Lots of different distances to suit all: 
- 5km fun run / cycle
- 30km cycle
- 100km and 125km cycles
