Tour de Kilkenny 2011 - Official Launch
Friday, June 24, 2011 at 10:52PM The club officially launched this years Tour de Kilkenny from the headquarters of its main sponsor Avonmore, in Kilkenny on Friday 24th June. With just 5 weeks to the big day on 30th July preparations for this years event are well underway and the club is really looking forward to putting on another superb day of cycling with a selection of routes to suit all abilities.
On hand to help launch this years event was RTE Sports personality, Evanne Ni Chuilinn along with the Delahunty family from Thomastown, Dee Ahern from Barretstown, Brian Phelan from Glanbia/Avonmore and the clubs own Michael Shields.
