This year, National Bike Week will take place from the 18-26th June. Marble City Cyclers will be involved with the following activities for National Bike Week this year. All events during Bike Week are FREE and are open to Non Members and Members of the club.
In addition to the events listed below Smarter Travel have also organised a Family Fun Day on Saturday 25th June in Kilkenny with a very extensive schedule of interesting activities, click here for the full program of events.
Beginners Cycling Sessions
The club holds a weekly beginners spin every Monday evening at 7pm from the Kilkenny Castle Gates throughout Spring/Summer. During National Bike week we are encouraging those of you who have thought about joining us but never actually done it to come along and join us for a spin, we know you’ll love it! These cycles are done at a leisurely pace and are an ideal introduction to riding within a group. During Bike Week each person who turns up will get a free hi-viz jacket, spare tube and a puncture repair kit.
