Marble City Cyclers - Festive Fifty 2012

Having had to cancel last years edition due to the terrible snow and icy conditions we are hoping that this years Festive Fifty doesn't suffer the same fate. All proceeds for this event will go to the Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA). The event is intended to be very relaxed and we would encourage beginners to come along, we would also encourage people to get into the Christmas spirit by decorating their bikes or themselves with a bit of tinsel or Santa hat. Spot prizes for those with the best effort!

When

This years Festive Fifty is on Sunday the 4th of December. Sign on is open @ 9.45am and we hope to be on the road for 103.0am.

Where

This years event will start and finish at the IWA buildings, on College Road, opposite St.Kierans College.

Route

Kilkenny - Paulstown - Gowran - Dungarvan - Thomastown (Foodstop) - Bennetsbridge - Kilkenny

There will be refreshments in Thomastown and also on return to the IWA Buildings in Kilkenny.

Cost

• €10 if you have a current Cycling Ireland License (you must have your license card on you)
• €15 if you do not have current Cycling Ireland (i.e. + €5 to take out a 1 day license).

All proceeds will go to the Irish Wheelchair Association.
